Machine Operator in Folkestone
Pay: £13.33 per hour
Reporting to: Metal Workshop Manager
Hours: 8:00am to 5:30pm plus overtime
Key responsibilities:
- Machine and prepare materials for assembly and welding
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Maintain quality standards throughout production
- Ensure materials and consumables are sufficiently stocked
- Maintain housekeeping standards
- Follow all health and safety procedures
Requirements:
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
