Reach & Counterbalance FLT Driver - Coldstore
The Best Connection is currently recruiting for an experienced Reach & Counterbalance FLT Driver to join a busy coldstore operation on a temp-to-perm basis.
The Role
Working within a busy coldstore environment, you will play a key role in ensuring goods are moved, stored and dispatched safely and efficiently.
Duties will include:
- Operating Reach and Counterbalance FLTs
- Goods in and goods out
- Picking and preparing orders
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Operating PPT equipment
- Moving and storing stock safely within the coldstore
- Ensuring goods are stored correctly and efficiently
- Assisting with general warehouse duties when required
- Following all health & safety and coldstore procedures
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will:
- Have previous warehouse and FLT experience
- Hold valid Reach and Counterbalance FLT licences/certificates
- Be comfortable working in a coldstore environment
- Be reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Work well as part of a team
- Be flexible and willing to assist with general warehouse duties when required
Pay & Hours
£13.50 per hour
Monday to Friday, 05:00-13:30
This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, offering the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.
