Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative / Counterbalance FLT Driver to join our team, handling carrier bags and packaging products for distribution.
The role involves picking, packing, re-boxing and re-labelling goods, ensuring all products are accurately prepared and packaged to a high standard. The successful candidate will also operate a counterbalance forklift truck to support daily warehouse operations.
A valid Counterbalance FLT licence is essential for this position.
This is an ongoing temporary role with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking, packing and preparing carrier bags and packaging products for distribution.
- Re-boxing and re-labelling goods accurately in line with company requirements.
- Operating a counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently to move, load and organise stock.
- Checking products for accuracy, quality and damage before dispatch.
- Ensuring goods are packaged securely and correctly labelled for delivery.
- Loading, unloading and moving stock as required.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised warehouse environment.
- Following all health and safety procedures and safe working practices.
- Assisting with stock organisation and general warehouse duties as required.
- Working efficiently to meet daily targets and distribution deadlines.
Skills and Requirements
- Must hold a valid Counterbalance FLT licence.
- Previous warehouse experience is desirable.
- Proven experience operating a counterbalance forklift truck.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to work accurately.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping.
- Ability to undertake manual handling duties as required.

The Ideal Candidate
