Pay Rate: From £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00am-3:00pm | Friday, 7:00am-2:00pm
Contract: Long-term ongoing, with the opportunity to become permanent

The Best Connection is currently recruiting experienced Fettlers / Spongers to join a prestigious pottery manufacturer based in Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent.
This is an excellent opportunity for skilled individuals looking for stable, long-term work within a busy and well-established pottery factory, with the potential for a permanent position.
The Role
Working as part of a busy production team, your responsibilities will include:
- Fettling and sponging ceramic products to a high standard.
- Removing mould marks, seams and excess clay from ceramic items.
- Smoothing surfaces to achieve a clean, high-quality finish.
- Maintaining consistent quality and attention to detail throughout the production process.
- Working efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in fettling and/or sponging is essential.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- A reliable, hardworking and positive attitude.
