We are currently recruiting for multiple Bakery Team Members across a range of roles and positions within a fast-paced, 24/7 food manufacturing operation. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a multi-skilled team responsible for producing high-quality products ready for distribution.

As a key member of the team, you may work across a variety of departments including hygiene, production, and warehouse, operating bakery machinery and automated equipment, sometimes independently. You will play an active role in maintaining high standards of health & safety, quality, and hygiene, ensuring products meet company expectations at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Always prioritise health and safety, ensuring your own safety and that of others
  • Work collaboratively within a team and lead by example in day-to-day activities
  • Comply with all Health, Safety, Environmental, and Food Safety standards
  • Operate a range of bakery machinery and equipment across the site
  • Support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and housekeeping
  • Carry out visual inspections and identify potential risks, taking appropriate action
  • Ensure all products meet required quality standards
  • Follow all site processes and procedures for safe and efficient operations

Key Requirements

  • Previous experience within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment
  • Willingness to work a flexible shift pattern (days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays)
  • Good level of numeracy, literacy, and communication skills
  • Strong focus on health & safety and quality standards
  • Ability to adapt and work across different departments
  • Positive attitude with a team-oriented approach
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Basic IT and computer knowledge
