The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a CNC Production Engineer to work at our client's manufacturing site based in Farnham, Surrey. This is a temp to perm vacancy (12 weeks) with working hours from Monday to Friday (39 hours per week).

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Carrying out routine operation and maintenance on CNC machines.
  • Troubleshooting of machining issues.
  • Varying degrees of manual handling.
  • Developing and refining manufacturing methods to reduce cycle times and improve efficiency.
  • Producing standard operating procedures, shop floor job packs, routings, and tooling sheets.
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.

The successful applicant will:

  • Speak a good level of English.
  • Have experience within production and engineering.
  • Have experience within CNC machine operation.
  • Be a problem solver with good use of their own initiative.
  • Have an understanding of CNC machine tools, tooling, and machining processes for various materials.
  • Be able to reliably commute to Farnham.

Pay rate is £18.50 per hour, with the rate progressing once permanent. An immediate start is available; notice periods can be honoured.
