The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Class 2 Driver for our well-established client based in Farnborough. This is a full-time role plus weekend availability required.
Location: Farnborough
Industry: Logistics
Hours: Monday-Friday plus weekend availability
Flexible start times: 7:30am-11:00am
Pay:
- Monday-Friday £16.13 per hour
- Saturday £24.19 per hour
- Sunday/Bank Holiday £32
Key Responsibilities of the Class 2 Driver:
- Carry out deliveries to customers' houses (between 8-10 drops)
- Complete all relevant paperwork and delivery documentation accurately
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Ensure loads are safely secured and comply with road transport legislation
- Provide excellent customer service at all times
Requirements of the Class 2 Driver:
- Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Previous experience desired
- Good communication and time-management skills
- Comfortable with heavy lifting
