We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established food manufacturing business looking to add an experienced engineer to its maintenance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent role where you'll be responsible for keeping production equipment running safely and efficiently while supporting continuous improvement across the site. The Role As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will: Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on production machinery and site services. Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimise downtime. Install, commission, modify and improve machinery and equipment. Maintain conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, compressors, packaging machinery and processing equipment. Fault-find on motors, sensors, PLC-controlled equipment, VSDs and control panels. What We're Looking For Essential Recognised Engineering qualification Multi-skilled experience covering both electrical and mechanical maintenance Previous manufacturing maintenance experience Desirable 18th Edition Electrical Qualification Food Manufacturing or FMCG experience PLC fault-finding experience Welding and fabrication skills Automation and controls experience IOSH Working Safely What's On Offer?
