Location: Sheffield (S11)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Duration: 12 weeks

Pay: £13.50 per hour

Overview

Provide day‑to‑day facilities support across the Aviva site, helping ensure the building runs smoothly and workplace standards are maintained.

Key Duties

  • Support delivery of all facilities services (cleaning, meeting rooms, waste, post)
  • Set up meeting rooms to client requirements
  • Carry out reactive tasks and resolve day‑to‑day issues
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organised workspaces
  • Report and log issues via helpdesk
  • Assist staff and visitors with queries
  • Follow health & safety procedures at all times
  • Carry out basic maintenance checks and report hazards
  • Support contractors and planned maintenance (PPM)
  • Help with deliveries, stock control, and logistics
  • Assist with events setup and clear down
  • Maintain site records and asset register

Requirements

  • Previous facilities or cleaning experience preferred
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic understanding of health & safety

  • Role is within a secure site (DBS required)
  • Must follow Mitie compliance and procedures
