The Best Connection are working with our client based in Washington. They are a well-established light engineering company and due to increased levels of business, they require Skilled Metalworkers / Welder Fabricators. The client would also consider semi-skilled metalworkers with fabrication and welding experience.
Duties include:
- Working with hollow section frames and material gauges between 1.5mm and 10mm
- Experience of working from engineering drawings to create own jigs fabricating products
- Producing a variety of projects within the industry from start to finish of project
- Previous experience of welding and working with aluminium
- MIG welding
- TIG welding would be an advantage but not essential
Hours of work:
- Monday - Thursday: 7.45am - 4.30pm
- Friday: 7.45am - 1.00pm
Pay rate:
- Basic: £13.00 - £15.50 per hour
- Overtime paid at time and a half @ £23.25 per hour
