The Best Connection are recruiting for a company based in Pleasley Vale, looking for a skilled Fabricator/Plater to join the growing team! If you have strong welding & fabrication experience and can confidently read engineering drawings, we want to hear from you.
What you will be working on:
- Typical fabricated products include:
- Staircases & handrails
- Platforms, walkways & ladders
- Machine guards
- Hoppers, chutes, conveyors & silos
- Steel canopies & frames
- Gutters, flashings & construction metalwork
A HUGE bonus if you have stainless steel experience!
A fabricator will typically:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Measure, mark out and cut metal (using saws, plasma, laser, or guillotine)
- Weld components together (MIG, TIG, MMA)
- Assemble steel structures or parts
- Use press brakes, rollers, drills & grinders
- Inspect work for quality and tolerance
- Work with steel, stainless steel, aluminium & galvanised materials
Working hours & pay rate:
- Monday-Thursday: 8am-4:30pm
- Friday: 8am-3:30pm
- £15.00-£17.00 per hour
