We are looking for Extrusion Operatives to work at our site in Leominster. This is ongoing work with the potential to become a permanent member of the team.
Duties:
- Operating and monitoring extrusion machines
- Checking raw materials are correct, then loading onto machines
- Quality checks to ensure high standards are maintained at all times
- Housekeeping of extrusion lines, recycling units, packaging automation and associated equipment
- Ensure extruder pressures, amps, melt temperatures, frost lines and raw material feed are monitored at all times
- Report all hazardous situations immediately
- Monitor and manage line output rates, utilisation, scrap levels, quality issues and yield against plan/targets on each line
- Potential to be working at height
Shifts:
- Working 4 on / 4 off (2 days and 2 nights)
- 12 hours days and nights (6am-6pm / 6pm-6am)
Pay Rate:
- £16.11 per hour
- £24.16 per hour after standard weekly hours
