We are currently recruiting 2 Night Warehouse Operatives on behalf of our client based in Stanford-le-Hope.

This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity to join a busy warehouse team within a well-established business.

  • Key Duties
  • Accurately pick and pack customer orders to meet daily deadlines.
  • Wrap pallets of stock using pallet-wrapping machines.
  • Load and unload vehicles following completion of in-house MHE (forklift) training.
  • Receive goods inwards and accurately check product lines and quantities.
  • Follow instructions from Team Leaders, Supervisors, and Managers.
  • Work safely at all times while adhering to health and safety procedures and company standards.

About You

  • Have your own reliable transport, as the location and night shift hours are not easily accessible by public transport.
  • Be comfortable handling wine and spirits products.
  • Be flexible and able to work the required night shift pattern.
  • Happy to do Heavy Lifting and comfortable with walking, standing, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling throughout your shift.
  • Be able to safely lift and move stock weighing up to 20kg.
  • Be a reliable team player
  • Be comfortable working at height and not afraid of elevated working areas.
  • Have excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and customer satisfaction.
  • Be committed to maintaining high standards of quality, health and safety, and safe working practices.
  • Demonstrate honesty, respect, accountability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic.

  • A one-hour unpaid break is required during each shift and will be deducted from your total paid hours.
