Exciting job opportunities in Warrington! We are looking for an organised, proactive Transport Co-ordinator to take ownership of the day-to-day transport operation. You will ensure all customer KPIs are achieved, vehicles remain compliant, and drivers are supported and productive throughout each shift.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and monitor the daily transport plan, ensuring on-time delivery and resolving issues quickly.
  • Track vehicle and driver progress, escalating risks and communicating with customer services.
  • Manage driver performance, hours, and compliance with legal and company standards.
  • Coordinate outbound/inbound traffic to maintain safe, efficient yard operations.
  • Handle defects, incidents, and rejected/damaged orders, ensuring timely reporting.
  • Provide clear shift handovers and maintain accurate system transactions (GTS).
  • Liaise with drivers, planners, hauliers, and customer service teams to keep operations running smoothly.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong communicator, confident in working with drivers and internal teams.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to use own initiative and stay calm under pressure.
  • Previous experience in a similar field is required.

Working hours

The working hours are on a weekly rotation as follows:

  • Week 1: 06:00-15:00
  • Week 2: 10:00-19:00

Higher pay rates are achieved by working overtime. An immediate start is available after a successful interview and could lead to permanent after a successful qualifying period.
