The Best Connection Scotland are currently recruiting for our National Client who is in the market for Van (Cat B) drivers to load and deliver to homes throughout the Edinburgh Area. This role is ongoing or if you are just looking for an odd weekend shift. Depots are based in the Edinburgh Area and it is a 5/6 over 7 day role with working hours 8am/9am starts to finish (Pd 8hrs min).
Basic duties will include:
- Loading materials onto vehicle
- Delivering to customers' homes
- General upkeep of vehicle
This can be a physical job so candidates must have a good level of fitness.
Requirements:
- Valid Cat B Lic (Car)
- 1 year driving experience
- No major endorsements (e.g. DD, DR, IN)
- Documented work history
- References
- Excellent customer service skills - Must have a good level of English
- Complete online training at home (Paid)
Benefits:
- Monday to Friday £13.50ph
- Time and half after 8hrs and a Saturday
- Double time on a Sunday
- Holiday pay accrued separately
- Pension contributions paid
