The Best Connection are currently looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver to work in our clients warehouse based in Fawley Refinery, Southampton.

Duties to include, but not limited to:

  • Picking and packing materials
  • Unloading/loading goods via a forklift
  • Manning the warehouse service counter
  • Basic data entry and updating spreadsheets
  • Storing materials in racking
  • Driving the company van to transport goods between the site

Job requirements:

  • Valid UK Driving License
  • Good numeracy, literary and communication skills
  • Forklift experience (Training to be provided where necessary)
  • IT literate
  • Ability to work well in a team as well as independently

This is for an immediate start, and an ongoing, full-time position. There is a possibility that the company will offer a permanent contract after a 12-week qualifying period, depending on performance and attendance.

The working hours are Monday - Friday, 07:30 - 16:00.

The starting pay rate is £13.49 per hour.
