Our client based in Eastleigh are currently looking for an HGV Cat C Driver to join them on an ongoing basis or a temp to perm contract. This is a Monday to Friday job driving an 18 ton Cat C Lorry. You will be delivering to customers based in and around Hampshire. A good local knowledge will be needed. The hourly rate is £16.80 per hour with overtime opportunities. - You will be delivering goods to customers in and around Hampshire. This is all business to business so no residential work.
- You will be driving an 18 ton lorry
- All runs are pre planned
- You will be asked to load your vehicle in the morning in the given order. You will have help with this but all drivers load in order to minimise any mistakes with stock errors
- The company will provide all the necessary training
- The volume of work will vary dependent on the area you will be working in and the number of customers on the run. You will be given pump trucks to assist and the vehicles are fitted with tail lifts
- The hourly rate is £16.50 with an 8 hour minimum shift.
- You will start as a temp driver but if you like the job and meet their standards, you will be offered a full time contract.
