The Best Connection are currently seeking a Forklift Driver/Warehouse Operative to work for our client based outside of Romsey, Southampton.
Duties to include but not limited to:
- Loading and unloading deliveries using a forklift truck
- Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders
- Moving stock safely within the warehouse
- Carrying out stock checks and inventory control
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Assisting with goods in and out processes
- Following all health and safety procedures
Job requirements:
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)
- Own transport due to remote location
- Previous warehouse experience
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties
This is for an immediate start, and an ongoing, full-time position. There is a possibility that the company will offer a permanent contract after a 12-week qualifying period, depending on performance and attendance. Working hours are 0900 to 1700, Monday to Friday. Pay rate of £13.50 per hour, weekly pay.
