The Role:
We are looking for hardworking and reliable Warehouse Workers / FLT Operatives to join a busy warehouse environment. This is a fast-paced role involving manual handling, forklift operation, and supporting the efficient movement of goods throughout the warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching products while maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading deliveries.
- Operating forklifts to move products and materials, including items weighing up to 5 tonnes.
- Receiving and storing stock in designated warehouse locations.
- Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
- Carrying out general warehouse duties and housekeeping tasks.
- Following all health and safety procedures at all times.
- Ensuring stock is handled accurately and safely.
Requirements:
- FLT training is mandatory and will be required for all starters.
- Previous warehouse experience is essential.
- Forklift License is beneficial.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with long shifts and manual handling.
- Strong attention to detail and a positive work ethic.
- Ability to work days, nights, and overtime when required.
Breaks:
During each shift, employees receive:
- 1 hour unpaid lunch break, which can be taken as:
- Two 30-minute breaks, or One 30-minute break and two 15-minute breaks.
PPE Requirements:
Candidates must provide and wear:
- Safety boots
- High-visibility vest/jacket
