We are recruiting FLT Drivers / Warehouse Operatives to join a busy and successful warehouse operation. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced environment, offering competitive pay rates, enhanced overtime, full training, and genuine long-term prospects. Pay Rates

  • Day Shift: £12.71 per hour
  • Night Shift: £14.62 per hour
  • Enhanced Overtime Rates:
    • Day Shift Overtime: +25%
    • Night Shift Overtime: +15%

Shift Pattern

  • Rotating 6-on, 3-off shift pattern:
    • 3 Day Shifts: 05:45am - 06:00pm
    • 3 Night Shifts: 05:45pm - 06:00am
    • 3 Days Off

This pattern provides regular rest days while maintaining full-time hours and excellent earning potential.

What You'll Be Doing

As an FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative, you'll play a key role in ensuring warehouse operations run safely, efficiently, and accurately. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Operating forklift trucks safely and efficiently
  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Moving stock and materials throughout the warehouse
  • Receiving and storing goods in designated locations
  • Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
  • Supporting stock control and inventory processes
  • Carrying out general warehouse duties and housekeeping
  • Following all health and safety procedures
  • Handling materials and products, including loads of up to 5 tonnes using FLT equipment

Breaks

Each shift includes a total of 1 hour unpaid break, which can be taken as:

  • Two 30-minute breaks, or
  • One 30-minute break and two 15-minute breaks

PPE Requirements

Candidates must provide:

  • Safety boots
  • High-visibility vest or jacket
