Materials Control Administrator
£15.00 per hour
Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30 (37.5 hours per week)
The Best Connection are recruiting for a Materials Control Administrator on behalf of our client, a leading logistics business.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-focused administrator to join a busy materials team, supporting supply chain and procurement activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and resolving invoice queries
- Supporting scrap processes, including BER and goods lost in transit
- Maintaining accurate materials data and records
- Producing and distributing SAP reports
- Managing Stock Transport Order (STO) order books
- Creating and maintaining part numbers
- Liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience within logistics, supply chain, materials, or administration
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities
Desirable:
- Experience using SAP or other ERP systems
- Experience within a manufacturing or stores environment
