Our client based in Preston is looking to recruit a flexible and dependable Driver / Warehouse Operative to join their team. This is a varied role involving a mix of driving, warehouse duties and occasional production support. The successful candidate will be happy to work across different areas of the business and adapt to changing priorities throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities- Delivering and collecting goods when required
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch
- General warehouse duties, including stock movement and organisation
- Supporting the production team during busy periods
- Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment
- Following company health and safety procedures
- Full UK Driving Licence is essential
- Candidates must be aged 25 or over for insurance purposes
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous
- Counterbalance FLT licence is desirable but not essential, as training can be provided
- Flexible and proactive approach to work
