HGV Class 2 Driver in Darlington

The Best Connection are currently recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers (LGV C) to support our client based in Staindrop. Our client operates within the construction and aggregates sector, and we are seeking reliable drivers with proven tipper experience. This role is ideal for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for flexible, ad-hoc work. Start date – 12/12

The Role:

• HGV Class 2 Driver tipper work across local and regional areas
• Completing deliveries and collections safely and efficiently
• Ad-hoc shifts available starting 12/12
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring load safety
• Representing both our client and The Best Connection professionally as an HGV Class 2 Driver

The Candidate:

• Minimum 2 years Class 2 driving experience
• Tipper experience is essential
• Valid Cat C licence, CPC card, and Digital Tachograph card
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
• Smart, professional appearance essential for an HGV Class 2 Driver

Hours of Work:

• Ad-hoc shifts
• 06:30 start time

Pay Rate (PAYE):

• £14.50 per hour
