The Best Connection is recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established food business, for a Customer Service Assistant to join their busy sandwich shop team. If you enjoy working with people, providing excellent customer service, and being part of a friendly team, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

Hours of Work: Approximately 20 hours per week, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM shifts during the week, Saturday working required, Working across shop locations within the Sheffield area.

Main Duties:

  • Providing a friendly and professional service to all customers
  • Serving customers and handling transactions
  • Preparing sandwiches and other food products
  • Assisting with food preparation tasks
  • Cooking bacon, sausages, pork, and other products using commercial ovens
  • Replenishing stock and maintaining attractive displays
  • Keeping the shop clean, tidy, and hygienic at all times
  • Supporting the team with general day-to-day shop duties

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous customer service, retail, hospitality, or food service experience is desirable
  • Friendly, approachable, and confident dealing with customers
