The Best Connection are currently seeking an organised and proactive Warehouse Coordinator to support the efficient day-to-day operation of our clients Crawley warehouse. The role involves coordinating fulfilment, inbound and outbound activity, and stock control to support team productivity and accuracy.
Location: Crawley
Industry: Logistics
Hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week between the hours of 7am and 5pm
Pay: Β£26,952 pa
Responsibilities of the Warehouse Coordinator:
- Communicate business priorities to warehouse teams in collaboration with Team Leaders, Customer Service, and Supply Chain.
- Support daily warehouse operations including stock control, order fulfilment, reporting, and productivity.
- Coordinate warehouse activities to meet business needs.
- Assist with complaints, investigations, and corrective actions.
- Manage inventory processes such as returns, discrepancies, stock checks, and system updates to ensure accurate stock data.
- Monitor productivity and report on KPIs.
- Attend planning and alignment meetings.
- Ensure accurate data entry in line with QMS requirements.
Requirements of the Warehouse Coordinator:
- Strong organisational, communication, and administrative skills.
- Good time management with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Flexible, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Hands-on team support with problem-solving and process improvement skills.
- PC literate with experience in Word and Excel.
- Previous warehouse or operational experience is an advantage.
Desirable:
- Experience using ERP/WMS systems is an advantage but not essential.
- Experience with serial or lot-level inventory control is an advantage but not essential.
