The Best Connection Employment Group are currently seeking Flexible HGV Drivers (Class 1 and Class 2) for our client based in Crawley. This role offers ongoing work and peak cover opportunities within the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain industry.
We are looking for flexible HGV drivers who can work both day and night shifts. Newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply.
Location: Crawley
Pay: Up to £17.92 per hour (depending on licences held)
Hours of Work: Flexible working patterns - Monday to Sunday. Day and night shifts available. Typical shift times include 01:00 - 10:00 (nights), with day shifts also available.
Responsibilities of the Flexible HGV Drivers:
- Operate Class 1 (Category C+E) and/or Class 2 (Category C) vehicles from Crawley to various locations across the UK
- Complete depot drops delivering caged and palletised parcels within the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain industry
- Carry out pre- and post-vehicle checks in line with company policy
- Ensure all deliveries are completed in line with schedules
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams
- Follow all health and safety procedures
Requirements of the Flexible HGV Drivers:
- Valid Category C (Class 2) and/or Category C+E (Class 1) Licence
- CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph card
- Flexible approach to working both day and night shifts
- Newly qualified drivers are welcome
