The Best Connection are recruiting Class 2 Drivers to work with our client based in Cramlington. This is a great temp to perm opportunity for drivers looking for long-term, stable work with a well-established company. The role involves delivering building materials to sites - no manual loading or unloading required, as stock is handled for you.
The Role:
- Start time: 07:00, Monday to Friday.
- Deliver building materials safely to construction sites.
- Use of straps and ratchets to secure loads.
- Stock is loaded and offloaded for you - minimal manual handling.
- Customer-facing role - professionalism and good communication are essential.
- Temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.
The Candidate:
- Full UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
- Valid CPC & Digital Tacho Card.
- 2 years commercial driving experience.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious.
Hours of Work & Pay:
- Monday to Friday - 07:00 starts.
- £14.00 per hour.
- £21.00 per hour after 8 hours.
- Weekly pay.
