The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Machine Setter on behalf of our well-established manufacturing client based in Corby. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering stable, full-time hours and excellent long-term career prospects within a growing production environment.
About the Role
- Delivering machine utilisation efficiencies across allocated production lines in line with company targets
- Achieving material efficiency targets and minimising waste
- Performing all duties to the required standards and within expected timescales
- Maintaining high quality standards throughout the production process
- Caring for and helping maintain tools, tooling and production equipment
- Following all company policies, procedures, work instructions and operating standards
- Completing accurate production and performance records each shift
- Demonstrating flexibility to help cover production requirements and vacant shifts where needed
- Undertaking training as required to support business needs and personal development
- Communicating effectively and working collaboratively with colleagues across the business
Working Hours
- 42 hours per week
- Full-time hours
- Overtime may be available depending on business requirements
Pay
- £13.96 per hour
- Weekly PAYE pay

- Previous experience as a Machine Setter or within a manufacturing/production environment preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
