A well-known machining company in Redditch is looking for an experienced CNC Sliding Head Setter/Operator to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating CNC sliding head machines, with a key requirement for twin-turret, twin-spindle experience. Programming experience is ideal but not essential; however, strong sliding-head setting/operating experience is required.
What you'll be doing:
- Setting and running CNC sliding head machines
- Working with twin-turret and twin-spindle machines (must have experience)
- Making high-quality parts
- Checking and adjusting tools and machine settings during your shift
- Using measuring tools to check your work
- Reading drawings and following instructions
Location: Redditch, Worcestershire
Hours of Work: Afternoon shift OR Day shifts with early Friday finish
Monday to Friday Afternoons (2 - 10pm) OR Monday to Friday Days (6am - 2pm or 8am - 4pm, Friday 12:30pm finish)
Pay: £16.50 per hour, dependent upon experience
Benefits: Workplace pension scheme, Onsite parking, Flexible working hours on Days.
