We are recruiting an experienced CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator for a well-established manufacturing business based in Minworth.
Key Responsibilities
- Program, set and operate CNC machinery using Fanuc, Mazatrol and Mitsubishi controls.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to produce accurate machining programs.
- Select tooling, fixtures and machining parameters to ensure efficient production.
- Inspect components using precision measuring equipment.
- Complete quality documentation and maintain high manufacturing standards.
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce cycle times.
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment.
- Work closely with engineering and quality teams to support production requirements.
Requirements
- 3+ years' experience in CNC programming, setting and operation.
- Strong knowledge of Fanuc, Mazatrol and Mitsubishi control systems.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and GD&T.
- Competent using a range of inspection and measuring equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable
- CAD/CAM experience, including Fusion 360, Edgecam or Mastercam.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S or Kaizen principles.
- Experience within precision engineering, automotive, aerospace, medical or similar sectors.
Pay Rate
£14.55 Per Hour - £15.59 Per Hour Dependant On Experience
