The Best Connection is recruiting for an experienced CNC 5 Axis Miller Programmer for our Wolverhampton based client.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: 41,000 - 41,600 per year

Working Hours: 08:00 - 16:30 Monday-Friday

The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting and operating 5-axis CNC milling machines to manufacture high-quality precision components to tight tolerances. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist/programmer who takes pride in producing accurate work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program, set, and operate CNC 5-axis milling machines
  • Create and optimise CNC programs using CAM software
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
  • Manufacture components to tight tolerances and quality standards
  • Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machining methods
  • Perform first-off inspections and in-process quality checks
  • Troubleshoot machining and programming issues
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Work closely with production and engineering teams to improve efficiency

  • Proven experience programming and operating CNC 5-axis milling machines
