Class 2 HGV Driver Days/Evenings

The Best Connection have fantastic on-going vacancies are currently looking for Full Time Class 2Drivers for a logistics company based in Bedford. Drivers will be responsible for delivering goods across the UK.

Details:
Drivers will be required to undertake anassessment prior to placement
Monday to Friday 12.00pm- 18:00pm start
Temporary to Permanent opportunity following successful trial period
Rates of pay:
Basicpay rate £20.00 per hour
Bank holiday pay rate £27.00 per hour
LGV/HGV Class 2Driver Duties:
General driving duties, observing current legal and best practice delivering and collection to/from thecustomers premises or other locations
Deliveringproducts on behalf of thecustomer
Use of electronic POD and up to date technology (full training provided if required)
Handballing cages and pallets
Loading and unloading
Good communication and customer service
Requirements of the LGV/HGV Class 2Driver
A full UK Cat Clicence (essential)
2 Years Cat C experience required
No more than 6 points on your licence
No previous disqualifications (DD,TT,DR,CD,IN)
Good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations
