Class 2 (C) Driver – Blackburn & Surrounding Areas
Ad-hoc Sickness & Holiday Cover | Multi-Drop Deliveries | £14.00 per hour
We are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 Drivers to provide ad-hoc cover for sickness and holiday requirements. The work is based in Blackburn and the surrounding areas and will mainly involve multi-drop deliveries to a range of customers.
This role is ideal for reliable and professional drivers seeking flexible work, with competitive pay and regular support from our transport team.
The Role:

Driving a Class 2 rigid vehicle for multi-drop deliveries

Ad-hoc shifts only – cover provided as and when required (days/nights may vary depending on client needs)

Delivering goods to various locations (usually 8-15 drops per shift)

Completing all vehicle checks, paperwork, and maintaining delivery standards

Providing excellent customer service at each drop-off point
Pay & Hours:

£14.00 per hour (PAYE)

Weekly pay

Day shifts (typical starts between 05:00-08:00) – occasional nights as required

Average shift length 8-10 hours, depending on route and number of drops
Requirements:

Valid Class 2 (C) licence

Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

At least 6-12 months\’ Class 2 driving experience (multi-drop preferred)

No more than 6 penalty points (no DD/DR/IN endorsements)

A reliable, flexible, and professional approach to work
