The Best Connection are seeking HGV Class 2 Drivers to work for our prestigious client based in West Thurrock, Essex. This is a temp to perm position.
As a Class 2 driver, you will be expected to complete deliveries of Kegs and Alcohol to clients based in Essex, Kent, London and SE Corner. Due to the nature of the role, there will be hand balling and you will have a drivers mate to support with deliveries.
Pay rate: £17.14 Per hour
Hours of work:
- Monday to Fridays - 0430am starts
- 45 hour working week - Minimum 9 hours a day.
Duties:
- Delivery of Kegs and Alcohol products to clients
- Supporting load and unloading goods
- Vehicle checks
- Shunt trailers in the yard if not out on deliveries
Driver Responsibilities and Experience:
- No more than 6 Points - DD or DR not accepted
- Regular vehicle checks
- HGV Commercial driving experience - Preferred
- Valid CPC and Digi Card
- Heavy lifting
- Customer facing role
