The Best Connection are currently seeking to recruit HGV Class 2 (LGV C) drivers to work with our client based in Darlington. Our client specialises in the delivery of furniture to customers, with handballing involved but a drivers mate is able to assist
The Role:
- Multi-drop Class 2 driving, delivering furniture directly to customers
- Handballing and manual handling of furniture involved with a drivers mate
- Efficient and accurate deliveries on scheduled routes
- This is a customer-facing role, so a friendly and professional attitude is essential – you will be representing both our client and The Best Connection
The Candidate:
- Valid and in-date Cat C driving licence, CPC card, and Digital Tachograph card
- Minimum 12 months Class 2 driving experience required
- Positive attitude towards customer service
- Ability to handle manual lifting/handballing safely
Hours of Work:
- Ongoing bookings with a 4 on 2 off, 4 on 2 off, 5 on 2 off rota
- Training week provided
Pay Rates (PAYE):
- £16.76 per hour weekdays
- £17.76 per hour weekends
