Class 1 Tramper Driver
The Best Connection are recruiting are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 Tramper Driver to join our team.
This role involves nationwide deliveries and collections, ensuring goods are transported safely, efficiently, and in line with all transport regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles for long-distance deliveries and collections.
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
- Ensure loads are safely secured and transported in compliance with legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and records.
- Liaise with transport planners, customers, and site personnel.
- Adhere to Drivers' Hours, Working Time Directive, and Health & Safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service at all times.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Minimum 6 months' Class 1 experience
- Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Maximum 6 penalty points
- No DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
- Willingness to work away from home during the week (tramping)
