Our client, a well-established and expanding business, is seeking HGV Class 1 Tramping Drivers to join their growing operations team. The Role
- You'll be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of specialist equipment and plant across the UK. This is a tramping role, so nights out will be required.
- Working on flatbed deliveries, you'll play a key part in ensuring goods reach customer sites on time and in excellent condition.
- Operating HGV Class 1 vehicles to deliver goods nationwide
- Safely securing loads using ratchet straps
- Completing pre- and post-trip vehicle checks
- Accurate record keeping and paperwork
- Communicating with the operations team to ensure smooth delivery schedules
- Providing excellent customer service when representing the company on client sites
About You
- The successful candidate will be:
- A qualified HGV Class 1 Driver with valid CPC
- Confident in securing loads and handling plant equipment
- Reliable, professional, and committed to safety
- Flexible to work nights out and occasional weekends
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience with wagon & drag
- CSCS card (training can be provided)
