The Best Connection West Bromwich are delighted to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Class 1 Low loader (C+E) HGV Driver to join our reputable client based in the heart of West Bromwich.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering plant equipment, on a low loader to building sites across the UK. Must be confident in loading, unloading and securing plant equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- 2-5 deliveries/collections per day nationwide
- Loading and unloading of plant equipment
- Start times between 04:00-06:00, Monday to Friday
- X1 night out per week
- Driving safely and efficiently in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Adhering to all health and safety standards, The Highway Code, and vehicle regulations
- Completing regular vehicle checks
- Keeping vehicles in clean condition
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Driver CPC Qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Low loader experience (preferred)
- Experience using straps/chains to secure loads (advantageous)
