The Best Connection Group Ltd is currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 (C+E) Night Driver to work with one of our well-established clients, starting from Tamworth. This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers looking for regular night work, straightforward trunking duties, guaranteed minimum pay, and a reliable ongoing assignment.
Pay:
- £17.00 per hour Monday - Friday
- £18.00 per hour Saturdays
- £20.00 per hour Sundays
Monday to Friday night shifts available. Start times between 17:00 and 02:00. 45-minute unpaid break. Minimum 8 hours paid per shift, even if you finish earlier.
Duties:
- Trunking nationwide from the Tamworth depot
- Trailer swaps
- No handballing involved
- Completing vehicle checks and relevant paperwork
- Ensuring compliance with driver’s hours and working time regulations
- Providing a professional and reliable service to customers
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months Class 1 (C+E) driving experience
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of Driver’s Hours and Working Time Regulations
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious approach
