The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a temporary Class 1 (Category CE) HGV Driver for a well‑established transport operation based locally. This is a temporary position. The role involves curtain‑side work, operating from 17th July to 31st July. You will be starting at Claycross and delivering products to clients around England.
The Role
- Class 1 curtain‑side deliveries
- Regional or nationwide runs depending on route
- Use of curtains and load restraint (manual handling involved)
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (Category CE) licence
- Minimum 2 years' Class 1 driving experience
- Licence held for a minimum of 2 years
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Curtain‑side experience preferred
- Good understanding of drivers' hours and WTD
- Reliable, professional attitude with good customer‑facing skills
