The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Car Transporter Driver to join our team based in Stoke-on-Trent. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering new motor vehicles to both businesses and private individuals at various locations across the UK. This position involves regular travel and nights out, so flexibility is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently delivering new vehicles across the UK
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed on time and in line with company and legal requirements
- Maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service
- Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring loads are secure
- Complying with UK road transport and driving regulations
- Completing all relevant delivery paperwork and documentation
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
- Valid Class 1 (CE) licence
- Valid CPC qualification
- Digital tachograph (Digi) card
- Clean driving licence
- Strong knowledge of the UK road network
- Experience driving a car transporter would be advantageous
- Flexible approach to varying start times and nights out
- Good communication and customer service skills
