Class 1 & 2 Drivers Wanted - Temp to Perm Opportunity! The Best Connection Group Ltd are currently looking for reliable and professional HGV Drivers to join our client based in Stoke. You'll be responsible for making multi-drop deliveries of chilled and frozen goods as well as ambient to stores nationwide. Newly Passed HGV drivers are welcome. No prior experience is required!

About the role:

  • Average of 5-10 drops per day
  • Delivery using roll cages unloaded via tail lift
  • Start times between 04:00 and 06:00am
  • Typical shift length is around 12 hours
  • Long term ongoing work with permanent opportunities available
  • Ensuring all products are delivered safely and on time
  • Maintaining excellent customer service and vehicle standards

An assessment is required prior to starting which will include driving, theory and drugs and alcohol test. Successful candidates will then complete an induction and buddy days.

Available shifts:

  • Bi-weekly rota with one weekend day every other week (usually Saturday).
  • Typically working 7 days over 2 weeks with overtime available.
  • Ad-hoc basis completing 1-4 shifts weekly - you tell us when you are available!

Pay rates:

  • Basic rate of £17.64 ph
  • Weekend rate £19.77 ph
  • Overtime rate after 48h £24.36 ph
