Role Overview
The Best Connection are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operative to join a busy manufacturing team specialising in the production of beer pump fonts. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with assembly or production experience who enjoys working with tools and has a strong eye for detail.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling products to customer specifications while maintaining high quality standards and working efficiently to production targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble beer pump fonts to customer specifications using hand tools and power tools
- Fit components including tap handles, LED lighting, branding badges, and cooling elements
- Carry out accurate wiring and connectivity for illuminated fonts
- Follow technical diagrams and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Perform quality checks on completed assemblies to ensure functionality and finish
- Report faults, defects, or issues to team leaders or supervisors
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workstation
- Package finished products securely ready for shipping
Requirements:
- Previous experience within a similar assembly or manufacturing role
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work towards targets and deadlines
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
