The Best Connection is recruiting a Quality Assurance Technician to join a quality team within a food manufacturing environment. You'll ensure product safety, legality, and quality from raw materials through to finished goods while supporting compliance and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality checks across raw materials, production, and finished products
- Monitor HACCP, GMP, hygiene, CCPs, and traceability
- Investigate and report non-conformances
- Support audits, inspections, and compliance with customer/BRC standards
- Work closely with production to maintain quality standards
Requirements
- Experience in food manufacturing (QA/QC preferred)
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety systems
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic IT skills
Pay per hour is £14.42 to start and upon completing a 6 month probation period, this increases to £16.24.
