The Best Connection Portsmouth are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Chichester for HGV Class 1 Night Drivers.
Responsibilities
- Operate HGV Class 1 vehicle safely and efficiently
- Collect pallets from main hub overnight
- Ensure correct placement in line with site requirements
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly
- Complete all relevant paperwork and digital records accurately (e.g. delivery notes)
- Communicate effectively with customers, office staff, and site personnel
- Secure loads correctly and ensure transported safely
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients
- Keep vehicle clean and presentable
This role is available for ongoing or temp to perm role for the right candidate.
Hours of work
Starts at 18:00 each day (willing to be flexible as this could change daily)
Pay Rates
£18.25 per hour Monday to Friday, Minimum 10 hours paid per day
