The Best Connection are recruiting for Production Operatives. As a labeller, you will be working on a line packing products and re-labelling the products, meeting targets and ensuring the quality of the products are to the highest of standards. You will be repacking products into smaller quantities, palletising and shrink wrapping too. Ideal if you have your own transport due to the location of the job.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm
Main duties:
- Following all Safe Systems of Work and procedures.
- Reporting any near miss incidents, hazards or defective equipment at any time.
- Reporting any accidents and supporting investigations.
- Adhering to all Quality procedures.
- Reporting to Line Leader any faults in packed product e.g. poor seals, coding difficult to read or missing.
- Checking products and ensuring the right quality is packed.
- Ensuring pallet layout is correct.
- Keeping the line tidy.
- Working at the required rate to achieve the line target.
- Re-packing products.
- Re-labelling products.
Qualifications:
- Able to work to production targets.
- Knowing the production targets for your line and support the line leader to deliver them.
- The ability to work within a fast-paced environment.
- Conscientious and reliable nature.
