We are recruiting a Machine Operative who has had experience working with CNC Machinery on a Temp‑to‑Perm basis to join a specialist engineering business. This is a long‑term opportunity with full training provided for candidates who demonstrate the right attitude and willingness to learn. The role is workshop‑based at first, with future requirement to support site call‑out work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operating CNC machinery to manufacture bespoke components
  • Working with both modern CNC equipment and older/manual machines
  • Assisting in the design, repair and fitting of specialist parts
  • Supporting call‑out work to customer sites
  • Working to engineering drawings and quality standards
Candidate Requirements
  • CNC machining experience (basic experience acceptable)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Maximum 6 points on licence
  • Willingness to undertake call‑out site work in the future
  • Positive mindset and willingness to be trained
Pay & Benefits
  • £14.00 per hour (standard rate)
  • Up to £16.00 per hour DOE
  • Site call‑out bonus
  • Night allowance: £25 per night
  • Accommodation covered during site work

While this role is at first advertised as a Machine Operative role, you will be required to complete and assist with other roles within the business. Eventually following a successful number of months you will be required to attend sites to complete emergency break down cover of machinery. Site visits can be anywhere in the UK or Ireland and can be required at short notice. You must be flexible with hours and call outs to be considered for this role.
