We are a well-established, family-run highways and waste services business based in Staffordshire, known for our reliable service and strong team culture. Due to continued growth, we are looking to add a Class 2 Driver to support our highways division.

The Role

As a Class 2 Driver, you will be operating a tanker vehicle alongside a crew member, working across local and Midlands areas. Your role will involve maintaining drainage systems on highways to ensure they remain clear and operational.

Key Responsibilities

  • Driving a Class 2 tanker vehicle safely and efficiently
  • Working as part of a two-person crew
  • Lifting drain covers and ensuring drainage systems are emptied
  • Assisting your colleague with general duties on-site
  • Frequent entry and exit from the vehicle throughout the day
  • Carrying out some manual handling tasks (handball involved)

Requirements

  • Valid Category C (Class 2) driving licence
  • Driver CPC qualification
  • Digital Tachograph (Digi) card
  • Good level of physical fitness due to the nature of the role
  • Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented attitude
