Plant Operative
Looking for a hands‑on role where every day is different, full training is provided, and you’re part of a supportive team? We’d love to hear from you!
What You’ll Be Doing
Don’t worry if you’ve never done this before – we’ll train you. Your day‑to‑day will include:
- Driving a counterbalance forklift and loading shovel to keep production moving
- Running our automated sand drying and mortar mixing systems from the control room
- Loading lorries safely and efficiently
- Carrying out simple quality checks in our lab (nothing complicated!)
- Helping keep the factory tidy, safe and well maintained
- Preparing silo equipment ready for customer delivery
- Pitching in with other general factory tasks as needed
Working Schedule
Monday to Friday / alternating
What We’re Looking For
You don’t need to tick every box. If you’re reliable, organised and keen to learn, you’ll fit right in.
Essential
- Full UK driving licence (Category B)
- Experience working in a similar environment
Helpful but not essential
- Loading shovel experience
- FLT CB License
