The Role: As an Agency Care Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work across various care settings in the Wiltshire area! The shifts for this role are ad hoc, you will be supporting our clients covering staffing gaps for sickness and holidays. We are looking for kind, patient and compassionate Care Workers to help provide the best quality of care by following personal care plans for each individual resident. This particular home offers a cosy, relaxed and happy atmosphere. With a regular programme of activities and entertainment, residents can maintain their hobbies and interests.
You will have excellent communication skills and have the experience and confidence to hit the ground running in any care setting and be able to work well as part of a team. You will be able to build and maintain good working relationships with all residents, family, visitors and colleagues.
Day-to-Day tasks could include:
- Help getting in and out of bed.
- Washing and bathing.
- Dressing.
- Preparing drinks.
- Assisting with medication.
- Toileting.
- Assisting with mealtimes.
